My mother confuses me
Lirae is now my favorite person!! She gave me the fix to the Angel theme. So now all 6 (is that too much lol–I may get rid of the pink butterflies one because I really don’t like it), so now they each work perfectly.
My mother really confuses me sometimes. As I said on my about me page, my mother is willing to do practically anything for me, and I love her for it. But, sometimes I wonder why she doesn’t put the same effort into herself. Don’t get me wrong, she’s not a weak, subservient woman, I think she’s strong and determined, but sometimes, she’s too accepting of the bad.
Case in point: she’s been doing some remodelling in the house. She hired this one general contractor, although I told her not too, and she really lost out. He was AWFUL. I mean, he did shoddy work, and charged her too much. It took him like 2 months to redo one of our bathrooms. Now, see a few years ago, she hired him to redo a bathroom downstairs, and it took him all summer, it was only a half bath, so it didn’t have a shower, but it took him 2 MONTHS. Considering all these other contrators who can do a simple half bath in a week or less, I knew he was a bad choice.
