I’m shocked!

People are actually downloading my brushes and smilies. I didn’t think anyone would like them, so that’s cool.

One thing I just had to discuss. My brother is getting divorced. I saw this coming before the wedding. If you asked me three years ago, I would have been honest and said, “nope, they are not going to last.” I knew it.

See, here’s the problem. They were completely incompatible. I mean, I couldn’t stand her, and if she got on my nerves, I knew that she would get on his. “But they acted so in love!” My mother says. Maybe for her it was love (although if you ask me, it was obsession), but my brother, it was just an act. God, I didn’t even want to go to the wedding, and I tried to refuse when I was told that I would be in it. Not because I wanted to be a bitch, but because I just didn’t feel good about it. Why would you want someone to stand up next to you when they can’t help but grimace the whole time. (I will never show you the wedding photos.)

He was way too young, my age (20), to get married. I didn’t see the necessity, it was just so complicated with “her” wanting this big fancy thing, when they are complaining about bills. I was upset, but I was also a teen girl who tended to throw temper tantrums, :lol:.

These past three years have been filled with arguments, breakups, makeups, and hiccups, along the way. I have said repeatedly that they were going to get divorced, and my mother said you are just being mean, she’s a nice girl…

Now, my brother admits that he never intended to stay with her forever, he didn’t really love her, he did it all because she wanted it. And, she wants him to pay her $20000. They are both idiots, and I am continuing to stay out of it.

Do you see what I have to put up with?

Do you think that one day all food will come in pill form?

Please god no! I may not eat often, but I do enjoy it. If I had to take food only in pill form, man that would be depressing.

Although, this reminds me of a story that I read that had to do with sustainability and carrying capicity. If food could be given out in pill form, can you imagine the growth in population world wide? They better get to work on that city in space!

Ok, after way too much time trying to validate, I have finally validated the new new poll and archive page. You can take the poll now. If you are using IE and you find the poll to be a little funky, switch to firefox (external link) please. I had to make 1 concession to make sure that both the html and css were valid. It looked ok to me, but I haven’t seen multiple votes yet.
