You may notice that the site’s been a bit slow because it’s database driven. Well, after talking to my host all week, we’ve finally decided to move it to a better database server.
This is good. It should be moved in the next couple days, but the site may be down for a some hours with the DNS propagates.
Edit: Maybe it’s just me, but it seems faster. Maybe the change is complete. I guess the site didn’t go down. That’s good.

Everybody’s sites seem to be running slowly lately or their WP database is down. I’m getting used to it. It’s not my computer like I previously thought though - which is a relief.
I know, and it has been even more so after the latest Wordpress update, but some of my other sites using databases, have also run slowly every once in a while, so it’s just better to do a move.
Plus, my host confirmed that the database wasn’t top notch, so they’re going to move me to a better one.
Yay for moving the site to a better server. Hope that works a lot better for you.
Your site isn’t extremely slow for me, I’ve seen worse, although I hope it will improve for everyone that is experiencing slowness when you move servers :).
