And people are getting shot here for disrespecting others...do you know what counts as disrespect? Looking at someone the wrong way. I think guns shouldn't be allowed unless you're in the Army or the police or something. =\ There should also be higher penalties for carrying a gun. More regulation in all areas is necessary. I'm tired of hearing about doctors poisoning their patients. But, it's much harder to keep people from buying knives because they can easily be rationalized. Plus, a gun can be used long-range, so no physical interaction is necessary. I completely agree. Knives? Daggers? Poison? Physical abuse? Guns are a good start, but they only skim the surface of what is essentially wrong with human society. It's sad and tragic, what happened to that woman, but here in the Philippines? If the police don't have guns, I won't even think of owning one. But they're the ones who kill the civilians, so screw them. I'd feel much more safer (yeah, notice the comparative words) with something to protect myself.
