Do you wish to be anonymous online, or do you not care either way?
I think we’ve all heard the horror stories about internet stalking, and of course, sometimes there are people in our lives that we would rather not know certain things.
But, do you care that your “online life” is kept separate from your “offline life.”
I think the only real reason why I’d rather be, at least, semi-anonymous is because employers seem to really be cracking down on their employees personal lives, or schools monitoring students lives outside of school. Increasingly, we hear about people getting fired for things they view online or students getting suspended because of things on their MySpace or Facebook page. … continue reading: Anonymity
