I fear that I am spoiled.

All the presents minus 3 under our Christmas tree are mine.

I got a present for my mother, and she bought one or 2 for some of her friends, but the rest are for me (not to mention the ones I got from friends, and the ones in the mail). Now, don’t get me wrong, I didn’t ask for anything, I didn’t even expect anything.

But, I’ve also come to accept that even at 21, I’ll still get plenty of gifts, even when it’s not my birthday or Christmas. (Whenever I come home, even if it’s just for a couple days, I tend to leave with another suitcase filled with clothes, shoes, purses, whatever.)

I complain about our consumer culture, but I’ve got new Versace glasses.

Oh well.

Merry Christmas all!

Sounds like you’re going to have an exciting Christmas this year! :P
I kind of know what you mean, I’m an only child (albeit a 20 year old one) and admittedly, am kind of spoiled too. :O
I hope you and your family have an enjoyable Christmas. :)

I know what you mean. I feel particularly awful with my mother because she does all the Christmas present shopping and my siblings and I get a lot for Christmas whereas I’ll only get her 2 or 3 gifts. It seems a little paltry in comparison.

    Merry Christmas!
