Looking forward to…

I am really looking forward to the new X-Files movie, and I can’t say that enough.

I’ll admit, I was pathetically upset when the show ended 6 years ago. I think the writers made the show go out with a whimper simply because David left and they couldn’t keep any momentum going.

It took so long for the movie to happen, but I always had faith. And here it is! Or here it will be! Coming out the day before my birthday. It’ll be a great bday present.

What I’m not looking forward to? The Olympics.

I’ll also admit that I can’t watch them, simply because they will be hosted in China. I’ve got nothing against the Chinese people. I feel for them and everything they are going through right now. But, I took quite a few classes these past 2 years that have informed me (as much as possible) on the Chinese government and the state of the world, and I can’t support them. I won’t apologize for that. But hey, I’m sure there will be plenty of people who do watch, so you won’t miss me.

(This is the part where I say, I know about the issues with the US government, and if you’ve read anything on this site, you’ll know how I feel about our current leaders as well.)
