Slowing Down
In terms of the internet, I think I’ve been dis-enamored with so many things.
A year ago, I wanted to try everything, and I did. I was really interested in opening new sites, learning new things, and I guess that’s important.
You’ve probably noticed that I’ve been MIA for the past 10 months or so, posting quite infrequently, and that’s basically because I’ve been living my life, and that’s been much better for me.
But, I guess I’ve outgrown that. I closed a bunch of sites, and I’ve officially stopped hosting (although, I’m keeping my current hostees), simply because I’ve lost the desire for all of those “extras.”
I have however opened some fanlistings, and tried some different things that, while may not interest other people, really interest me. And, I’ve decided that’s what’s more important.
Who cares about everyone else, right?
Ok, that maybe extreme, but I think you get my point.
On another note, I got my first “Cornell Alumni Magazine,” but I can’t say it’s too interesting. However, there’s this gorgeous picture of our graduation inside, and if I could set my scanner back up, then you could all see it.
My graduation was great, btw. They actually broadcast it on tv. I watched the footage, and if you were so inclined you can actually see me, for a good 10secs., waving while were were doing our procession.

Your site should in the first place be something you enjoy having / updating etc. Of course everyone wants to have people returning to their site because they find it interesting what you have to say, but what’s the point in having a huge website and you can’t enjoy it.
As long as you have fun with what you do on your website that’s the main thing
I agree.
I’ve tried them all, too. Being a website owner can sometimes take over your real life, it’s good to have some distraction
Congrats on graduating
Nice new theme! =) Hehe, yes, I can NEVER think of what to do with the header too, that’s why I haven’t had a new theme in over a year! LOL.
Anyways, I know what you mean about having a site, and not enjoying it. Yeah, like Chans said, just do what you want, because it really is YOUR life.
Oh wow, I’d like to see that Cornell Alumni thing! You guys have a magazine? Geez… We don’t have ANYTHING like that! Wow, and they broadcast your graduation on TV?!! WOW! Our’s was just online, but they cut it off like minutes before our college was called! Oh well…
Your site should be something you enjoy. Don’t do it for other people, do it for yourself…make yourself happy
Congrats on graduating!
