Four Christmases
Eh. It had it’s funny parts, it had it’s not so funny parts.
Next movie? Bolt. I heard though, that people were crying in the theatres. And if a lot of people cry, then I’m definitely going to cry.
ps. Why am I watching so many movies?
I saw the first 10 mins. of Australia, and walked out. Luckily, my ticket was for Four Christmases. I did see Hugh, and he looked… very good. I just need more patience.
Finally, I just want to end a little virtual support to the 200 workers from the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America that are involved in the sit-in at the Republic Windows and Doors plant since Friday.
The workers said Republic told them Bank of America had cut off credit to the company and gave them three days’ notice that they were losing their jobs. Federal law requires either 60 days’ notice or 60 days’ pay for the laid-off workers.
“We had started to notice things, like machines, disappearing from the plant during the weekends under cover of darkness,” UE member Melvin Maclin said.
“So we began asking questions, and management assured us everything was fine.”
…
Bank of America says the company has walked away and ignored its obligation to the workers. But union leaders argue that since the bank received $25 billion in taxpayer funds as part of the U.S. Treasury’s efforts to stabilize the financial markets, it should step in where the company has failed.
“These people would be out on the street three weeks before Christmas with nothing,” national union representative Mark Meinster said. “But what’s happened here is workers have decided to stand up and say no, enough is enough. You got that big bailout — you can make sure we get the money we’re owed and say, ‘No, enough is enough.’ ”

That’s really weird. In NZ, Four Christmases is called Four Holidays, and the poster is different and doesn’t have the Christmas decorations wrapped around them or anything. Odd. o.O
I still want to see it though, it sounds funny.
lol. Yea, I heard that it was called something different elsewhere. But apparently different names isn’t an uncommon thing.
I.e., The X-Files: I Want to Believe was given a different title in Spanish countries.
Yeah, different titles of the same movie is pretty common. Hmm, I was thinking of seeing 4 Christmases, just because it’s been the #1 movie at box offices. =P
You’re lucky to have time to watch movies. I don’t have time to watch even 1! =’( I used to watch a lot of movies too, and I LOVE to watch movies… I just don’t have the time to… =’(
