Ok, so this is something different. I just finished reading the transcript from Randy Pausch’s Last Lecture.
Randy Pausch is a professor at Carnegie Mellon University who is dying of cancer. He recently gave his Last Lecture, called “Randy Pausch’s Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams” that was amazing. You can actually watch it here at Google Videos, it’s about 1.5 hours long.
Let’s just say, it’s must see tv. (But, the transcript is good too.) I can’t describe how invigorating and enlightening his speech was, you just have to experience it for yourselves.
