Thinking about it….

Ok, so my internship is great, about 65% of the time. I’m loving NYC, and I even enjoy the work sometimes. I can’t talk about it–because confidential!–but, it’s pretty interesting and I’m meeting some….

It’s just the 35% of the time where I’m bored to death. Things can move really fast, which is nice, but then those 35% pop up, and blah, someone shoot me. That’s usually when I start doing other things….

MIA… sorry

Sorry about being MIA. There was this insane storm, I mean so bad you couldn’t seen in front of you, on Thursday.

It was like I was walking in a river on the sidewalk. The water was flowing so fast, and I was completely soaked.

Needless to say, by that night, I was feeling like complete crap, and I’m now sick. I can’t talk, my throat keeps closing up, it sucks.

If I didn’t have to go out, I would have stayed in when it got exceptionally bad, but I’m trying to get an internship for the Department of Labor so I had places to go and people to see. Democratic Troupes: Dancing for a Decision

If you didn’t get it, the title is a play on the word troop, because the War in Iraq may be the defining factor for the Democrats in 2006.

I just read a the Democrats Push for Cuts Within Months article at NYTimes.com. The basics say that the Democrats, as I have predicted, are planning to decrease the number of troops in Iraq over the next 4 to 6 months. Why? You say. Especially considering the current civil war situation that has erupted into a full mess in the country? Well, as many have said, the Democrats believe that it sends a message to the Iraqi people. That message being: “We want to help, but we’re not God. We don’t plan on babysitting you for the rest of your duration while you have petty, disgusting, disturbing arguments over things that should not matter.”

What? Oh, alright, that was my take on it. Here’s an actual statement:
